For seven weeks during the Summer, 12 students completed a hands on, quantum intensive program under the leadership of Dr. Franz Klein. These students, coming from University of Maryland and University of the District of Columbia, worked on several projects in advanced quantum technology including:
- Quantum Cellular Automata and Data Analysis
- Quantum Image Processing
- Optimization and Routing
- Quantum Games
In 2021, Dr. Klein became the Founding Director of the QLab with Dr. Norbert Linke taking over the Director position in 2025. QLab is proud to offer specialized programming that allows students to explore the realm of quantum technology and discover how quantum may play a role in their professional journey.
