1. Take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway (I-495)

4. At the 4th light, turn right onto River Road

From Virginia and Points South, Via MD Side of Capital Beltway (I-495) Recommended

1. Take I-66 East or I-270 South to Capital Beltway (I-495)
2. Go East on I-495 toward “Baltimore”

1. Take 16th St. North 16th St. becomes Georgia Ave. North at Maryland/D.C. line

3. Take Exit 23 (201 Kenilworth Avenue – Bladensburg/Greenbelt)
4. Proceed South on 201 in the direction of “Greenbelt Road and Bladensburg”

MARC from Baltimore (Penn Station/West Baltimore/BWI Airport)

1. Take the Penn Line train (toward Washington, D.C.) and get off at Union Station.
2. Transfer to the Metrorail system.
3. Take the Red Line train (toward Glenmont). Transfer at the Fort Totten station to the Green Line train (toward Greenbelt). Get off at the College Park/University of Maryland station. The University’s Shuttle-UM buses pick up university-bound passengers on the EAST side of the Metrorail station. The #109 bus drops off at University Research Court.

Reagan Washington National (DCA)

1. Located in Arlington, Virginia, this airport is located about 15 miles south of College Park. Travel can be slow through downtown Washington, D.C. during rush hours; approximate driving time is 40 minutes.
2. You can take the Metrorail from the airport. Take the Yellow Line (toward Mt. Vernon Square), transferring to the Green Line (toward Greenbelt), and get off at the College Park/University of Maryland station. The University’s Shuttle-UM buses pick up university-bound passengers on the EAST side of the Metrorail station. The #109 bus drops off at University Research Court.
3. Super Shuttle is also a convenient option.
4. Taxi service from the airport to campus will cost approximately $40.00.

Washington Dulles International (IAD)

1. Located near Herndon, Virginia, this airport is about 35 miles southwest of College Park. Driving time is approximately one hour.
2. Bus service is available to take you to the West Falls Church Metrorail station where you will take the Orange Line (toward New Carrollton), transferring to the Green Line (toward Greenbelt), and get off at College Park/University of Maryland station. The University’s Shuttle-UM buses pick up university-bound passengers on the EAST side of the Metrorail station. The #109 bus drops off at University Research Court.
