QLab, University of Maryland’s Quantum Lab led by Dr. Norbert Linke, is partnering with Sandia National Lab, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and the Quantum Systems Accelerator (QSA) to host the 2026 Quantum Computing, Mathematics, and Physics (QCaMP) Summer Camp for Educators. The summer camp will take place on the UMD College Park campus from June 22–26, 2026. The week-long program offers a unique opportunity for K-12 teachers to dive into the world of quantum information science (QIS).
QLab and participating organizations have a passion for sharing QIS with the public and fostering opportunities for local youth to expand their knowledge and interests. Some selected participants were even able to participate for free with stipends also being offered for participants teaching in Maryland.
